Privacy Policy
1. Controller
The party responsible for data processing on this website is:
Stefan Huber

Email: info@dartclubranking.com
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider:
netcup GmbH - Emmy-Noether-Straße 10 - D-76131 Karlsruhe
The hosting provider processes data arising from the use of this website on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR), in particular technical data such as IP addresses, in order to provide the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Server Log Files and Application Security Logs
When you access the website, information is automatically stored in so-called server log files (e.g. browser type, operating system, referrer URL, time of access, IP address). This data is used for the technical provision and security of the website and is not combined with other data sources. The log files are rotated automatically by the hosting provider and are generally deleted after 14 days at the latest. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
In addition, the application itself logs security-relevant events server-side (e.g. login attempts, triggered rate limits, and clubs confirming the contractual basis), each including the IP address; when confirming the contractual basis, the browser identifier (user agent) is logged as well. These logs serve to detect abuse, for troubleshooting, and — in the case of contract confirmation — as evidence of contract conclusion. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (security and abuse prevention); for logging the contract confirmation, additionally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and our accountability obligation under Art. 5(2) GDPR. This data is limited to what is necessary for these purposes and is not kept longer than required; the evidence of contract confirmation is retained for the duration of the contract plus any applicable statutory limitation and retention periods.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
This website uses only technically necessary cookies and comparable storage techniques; no tracking or marketing cookies are used:
- Session cookie: required for login and session management; a date filter selected during your visit is also remembered server-side in the session. The cookie is deleted at the end of your visit.
- Language cookie ("lang"): only set if you actively switch the language, and stores this choice. Storage period: 12 months.
- Local browser storage (localStorage/sessionStorage): permanently remembers your chosen ranking display mode (compact/standard/extended) and, for the duration of your visit, the scroll position when the dashboard view refreshes automatically. This information remains in your browser and is not transmitted to the server.
Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications-Digital-Services-Data-Protection Act — strictly necessary resp. settings you explicitly requested) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Sign-Up and Contact Form
If you contact us via the sign-up form, we process the data you provide (club name, contact person, email address, optionally a phone number, desired plan, and your message) as well as your IP address, in order to process your request and get in touch with you.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) resp. Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (processing the request). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Club Data (Use of the Service)
For clubs actively using the service, the data entered as part of the ranking (e.g. player names and match results) is processed on behalf of the respective club. The respective club is responsible for this processing; the basis is a corresponding data processing agreement.
7. Your Rights
Within the scope of the statutory requirements, you have the right at any time to:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
Please use the contact details given above.
8. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence or the place of the alleged infringement.
